Read Comics Online; Can I read comics online, like X Men for free ?

Can I read free X Men comics online on my computer ?

Well James if you want to read X men comics online using your computer for free, head on over to Once you are on the main page choose the tab that says online comics. Go ahead and sign in as a registered user to establish a username and password. Its quick, free and painless and only requires that you have an email address. Once you have gotten that out of the way you can select the title of the X men comic that you would like to read.

Now here comes the tricky part. Select the title of the X-Men comic that you want and a reader opens up in a separate window, the Marvel logo on the reader is pretty cool by the way. At the top right hand corner you can choose the view mode of the reader, select smart panels from the menu. Now Look down on the bottom right corner and you will see a box with the word pages in it and some little vertical bars as well .

You have to wait for the comic to download fully and the vertical bars turn red as each page of the comic book becomes ready for reading. So give the X-Men comic about two minutes to fully download. Then just use the arrows on screen to turn the pages. The viewer has some pretty cool features that let you also view the comic book frame by frame with the frames zoomed in. Try it this way and you will gain a whole new appreciation for the artwork that goes into an X-Men comic.

So that's how you get to read free X Men comic books online. But don't tell Stan Lee that reading the comics online via computer is more fun than reading the hard copy.

Transformers Movie Review: Transformers the Movie: July 2007

Miguel asks: Have you seen Transformers the Movie, what did you think of it?!




Okay, if you didn’t know already, I am here to tell you that Transformers the movie is the bomb!! Be prepared for an action packed roller coaster of a movie, with everything a person could possibly want in a sci fi action thriller. Transformers the movie starts out with first contact being made in the desert between a military base and a couple of really nasty decepticons. The Decepticons wreck shop and leave just a few survivors comprised of a special ops unit. Tyrese and the gang! But the Decepticons don’t like to leave a job half done and they follow the special ops soldiers into the desert to finish the job in a very cool battle sequence that leaves one Decepticon half dead and giving us humans a clue as to how to fight the bad guys and actually win.

The movie cuts to the city where Shia Lebouf buys his first car which happens to be Bumble Bee. Bumble Bee unites Lebouf with Optimus who tells Shia’s character that his Grandfather discovered the first denizen of Cybertron to land on earth and that a map to an ancient cube artifact that created Cybertron is laser etched on his grandfather’s glasses. Shia by the way is trying to sell said glasses on Ebay, so he has to end his auction early and give the glasses to Optimus to help save world.

From there the movie delivers a perfect mix of breathtaking computer animation, lots of action and quite a bit of humor. Yes, believe it or not Transformers the movie is actually quite funny!

But what I loved most was how Transformers stuck to being an action picture and only brought in humor and romance to support the action of the movie. Unlike Spiderman 3 which went from being an action series to a full fledged daytime soap opera.

All in all I have to give Transformers the movie a serious thumbs up. I had my doubts about this movie but I was very impressed with what Michael Bay, Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks were able to bring to the screen. Now is it my imagination but is DreamWorks really getting the hang of this movie making thing, seems like they have been on a serious roll since Over the Hedge.

But seriously folks, the only thing I didn’t like about Transformers the movie is when Optimus Prime got a little preachy towards the end of the movie, but then again Optimus was preachy even in the cartoon. Other than that I have to give Transformers the movie 5 stars. Check it out it is well worth the price of admission.

Will Harry Potter die in the new Harry Potter book The Deathly Hallows, what's your opinion?

Tracy asks: Will Harry Potter die in the new Harry Potter book The Deathly Hallows, whats your opinion?

Well this seems to be the big rumor that is spreading among Harry Potter fans as The Deathly Hallows, the last book in the Harry Potter series is set to be released this July.

Well let us consider that the word Death is in the title of the book and this is never a good thing for the main characters , generally speaking.

But seriously though, I think that sadly Harry will die in The Deathly Hallows. I mean between Lord Voldemort, trolls, dragons, giant spiders and everything else, Harry has come pretty close to death already. I think that Potter's luck will run out and he will die in the Deathly Hallows.
But I don't think he will die in such a way that he will never be able to come back again. All the hints from the author and the actors involved in the movie are that fans may not like the way that The Deathly Hallows ends the series. And I can really only think of one thing that can spoil the series for Potter fans and that would be the death of Harry Potter or some of the other main characters.

Even Daniel Radcliffe does not hold out much hope for his character.

So let us hope for the best and prepare for the worst as the Deathly Hallows winds up the most popular book to movie series in history. P.S. You can vote in our poll whether or not you think that Harry will die in the Deathly Hallows.

Movie review ! Ratatouille Movie Review !

Think of rats, Grosses you out huh? Well that is exactly the experience you will get from watching the latest Disney film Ratatouille.


The story centers around a rat who basically teaches the dishwasher of the kitchen to cook by pulling on his hair, seriously!! The animation in this film is weak and the storyline is even weaker. The two main characters do not really connect with the audience and neither of them has the classic obstacle to be overcome that Disney uses to endear to the audience.

I mean, one character is a no talent dishwasher who basically lies on his resume to get a job by using the talents of a sewer rat. The other main character is, well, a sewer rat.

The whole concept of the movie doesn’t work and the plot jumps from point to point with no real transitions. It’s obvious that the writers of the movie ran out of ideas and had to force the story to a conclusion by sheer will.

But mostly the story fails because it revolves around vermin in contact with people . There is one scene where Remy the rat and about two hundred of his rat brethren attack a health inspector in the kitchen. The scene which was supposed to be funny drew dead silence and one remark of gross from the people in the theater I saw it in. The rest of the movie gives you more of the same, rats among , which is not a pretty concept. If you do go see Ratatouille, you just might never eat at another restaurant again. Definitely skip this one folks!

In a contest between Joey Chestnut, Takeru Kobayashi and Jughead Jones , who do you think would win?

Well this is a pretty easy one to choose. Forsythe P. Jones better known as Jughead to all you Archie comics fans. Joey Chestnut did a pretty impressive job by in the Nathan's contest this last July 4th. He won with a total of 66 in 12 minutes to defeat the defending champ Takeru Kobayashi. And although this is a pretty impressive feat I still don't think that these guys have what it takes to hold a candle to Jughead Jones. The bottomless pit from Riverdale would beat these guys hands down with no problem!

But seriously, with so many movies being made from comic books these days can an Archie comic book movie be far behind. Which leads us to the question of who should play the part of Jughead in an upcoming movie. Well it might not be such a far stretch to use Joey Chestnut in the part, I mean throw a beanie and a blue sweatshirt on the guy and it just might work. We already know he has the appetite to play the part, at the very least I feel the guy deserves at least a chance to read for the part.

I just posted a link to one of my favorite Tom and Jerry Cartoons online here, watch cartoon episodes online for free. The Title of this toon is Tom & Jerry - Baby Puss and it was done in 1943 I think, but don't quote me on this. The animation in this particular cartoon is off the chain, with Tom Jerry and his friends lip syncing and playing instruments. The characters move to the beat and dance and sing in perfect time to the music. Sadly this quality of animation is scarce in today's cartoons, so enjoy this classic for.

Scooby Doo: Why does Fred choose those spooky back roads ???

R.J. asks: Why is it that in the early Scooby cartoons Fred always chose the darkest bumpiest road to drive on and never filled the mystery machine up with gas ?? I mean hasn't this guy ever heard of a map and a full tank, why go places where you always get lost and your ride either breaks down or runs out of gas. I love the Scooby cartoons but I never understood this.

Dear R.J. asking why Fred always chooses the spooky roads and always runs out of gas is the same as asking why does a rooster crow early in the morning when every other sane animal is fast asleep. The answer to both questions is the same. To get the girls!!!!

Haven't you noticed that whenever Fred runs out of gas and the gang has to either get out and walk or stay overnight at a spooky house, without fail Freddy splits the gang into two groups. He and the girls go one way while Shaggy and Scooby go in the exact opposite direction. On rare occasions Velma goes with Shaggy but Fred always makes sure that he has at least one of the girls to go exploring with.

So Freddy isn't as dumb as you think, come to think of it he might be the smartest one in the group!! Plus I heard that spooky houses and mysteries turns Daphne on!!
