Its not often that a piece of animation impresses me and this especially true for computer animation. But the Backyardigans really has blown me away !! This computer animated cartoon, has all the makings of great animation.


The animation in the backyardigans is no joke either. The toughest thing to animate is dance. Well The Backyardigans animators do a great job of animating the characters in some very expressive choreography.
The backyardigans appeals to both parents and kids on a lot of levels.

If there is one complaint I have about this animated cartoon, it is that the lighting of the Backyardigans is a just little too dark. But this is a problem that I see is inherent in most computer animation. Overall though the Backyardigans rates a 9 out of 10. Good kid safe entertainment that the parents can enjoy too.
